2008 Nancy and Les from North Carolina stay
with us every year, usually in early December. They are wonderful guests. Here
is a picture of Nancy sitting on the newly constructed dock at Top Notch Villa. CELL
PHONE HIRE. Sea Feathers has partnered with Cable and Wireless to offer a cell
phone at every villa. Guests are finding these cell phones to be very useful and
much cheaper than paying roaming charges to their service providers back home.
Please ask us for more details. By popular demand
and for those guests who miss their dogs, we are happy to offer our Weimaraner
"Harbour West Caribbean Faith" (Faith for short) free of charge for
walks, swimming and rides on the kayak. Faith is 3 years old now but still has
lots of energy! Her hobbies are stalking lizards
and meeting new people. Sorry, but you can't take
her home with you! Faith
has a new friend and pen pal. His name is Pulitzer and he belongs to Jim and Nobel,
who are regular and also wonderful guests at our Sea Feathers villas. His owners
describe him as their "frightfully neurotic, irritatingly stubborn, and manipulatively
handsome Jack Russell. Apparently his bark is rather feeble and his preferred
mode of attack is licking someone to death." Faith thinks he's a prize cutie!
Here
is Faith on a playdate with the Nolan children at Villa Palermo. Recently,
Faith won first prize for best trick at the Festival of Wagging Tails.. She did
a routine where she combined six different movements incuding giving her left
and right paws to the commands in Haitian creole. She was such a star! A beautiful
Pot Cake won best looking female and lots of money was raised for the Pot Cake
foundation, so all in all it was a great day and everyone went home happy. Pot
Cakes are our name for the mixed breed island dogs. Last year 6 of our guests
took a dog home with them. It is an island joke that Pot Cakes are our biggest
export here in the Turks and Caicos! |
At Sea Feathers we take food very seriously, so it's good that we have some really
great restaurants here on Providenciales. One of our special favourites is Magnolia
Wine Bar and Restaurant, overlooking Turtle Cove Marina. The food is always consistently
lovely and the service is excellent. The sunsets are stunning. The Long Island
Iced Teas are very potent!! Call 1 649 941 5108 for reservations. Our guests agree
that this is a great place to eat. |
